Speaker Fitment... Any ideas
I was just curious, did a model of the eclipse have speakers up under the windshield? They would be like 3-3 1/2 inch speakers if so, there are pre run wires to there in my car and i was just wonderng if thats what it was for. If so, would 3 1/2 inch speakers fit there? I put tweeters up there, but one blew and i wanted to go with different speakers this time. Thanks!

Re: Speaker Fitment... Any ideas
I believe The GST and GSX (the premium models) had the premium sound system which means all 6 speakers.
my GST has speakers up there that came with my car, however my old GS didn't have anything up there and i installed a set of tweaters, it sounded great! |

My gs has them. I guess it was an option you could add. Im betting that the wires are up there somewhere.

Re: Speaker Fitment... Any ideas
When I baught my 97 esi talon it has speakers in the dash, but i have the original window sticker still and it shows a upgraded 6 speaker sound system option, when I got the car it didnt have a radio though, I recently put one in and try as I might I cant seem to get the dash speakers to work, either side, these should be wired in with the door speakers correct? and if so it couldnt hurt to just run 2 new wires and splice it in with the door speakers could it?
