Eldo vs. Acura CL

Hi, I'm gearing up to race a buddy of mine who has a 2001 Acura CL - NOT the type-S (he has the S badge, but has the base 225HP CL engine under the hood.) What do the non-S CLs run 0-60 and in the quarter mile, and what do you think the outcome will be? I don't know much about his car other than the specs I've read and posted. I roll in a 1998 Cadillac Eldorado ETC. Both cars are stock, although I'll have a K&N air filter going into my car before the race, which he won't know about. Thanks!

Re: Eldo vs. Acura CL

Man,you should take him easily. We hit 60 in about 6.4 seconds and the 1/4 in 14.7 seconds. The CL runs a 8.9 in the 0-60 and a 18.6 in the quarter. The Type S would be a close race but were still quicker than them too.Take him on,and show him the balls of the Northstar.I won't give you a good luck, you won't need it.By the way,I say we because I drive a 2002 ETC.
