Re: Maxima.org
I signed up for the the Org and when i recieved the email to click the link. the link went to their site and it said you cannot view this link with a picture of their background. from that time on i have no way of cantacting any of the members to get them to resend it. i have sent 3 emails to their contact people with no reply. i want to participate but i cannot. I have been watching and reading the posts for a month now and have some valuable information to some people and i can't help them. anybody know how to get around this?

Re: Maxima.org
I don't kno the story behind the owners of the forum, but it seems like they're neglecting the site as of late.. It's been down for several days I'm getting a bit impatient too, I loved going to the site and checking things out.

Re: Maxima.org
i only go when i have a relatively serious technical problem. there are a lot of assholes but there's also a lot of knowledgable people.

Re: Maxima.org
you can still get those deals
i think you just have to tell them that the org is down and you want in on the deal.. whats the difference between them having your name on here and you calling and telling them.. ? that you spent 10 seconds on here to write your name down... im sur those guys would help you out.. from what i have read they are pretty nice .. |

Re: Maxima.org
i hate when the org goes down. But being a total and complete maxima fanatic I visit all the maxima boards that I know of. i also enjoy this board ! i see BP2K2Max here all the time.
one cool thing about the org is all the reply post you can get with a question or if your sharing something. i think that is the big reason why the other forums have a hard time growing. but seriously we have 1,000's of maxima owners and could use a few good places to go during times like these, or when the org is boggged down. looking at the error message, my guess would be they are pruning the database but not sure. several months ago they did something like this but gave a notice before hand. at any rate we will survive , im just wondering when the org will be back up. i had a few things i was trying to keep track of.

Re: Maxima.org
I don't know why they are knocking the Org. You can find out anything about your maxima the same day or in mins. I post a Question one time and did a refresh in 5 Mins. I had a couple answers. And if they don't know they will tell you how & were to find it. All the Maxima websites are good in there own way. Keep it real guys Maxima 4 Life..

Re: Maxima.org
yeah but it's not "comfortable" as theses here forums. most everyone here is friendly with each other, the org tends to turn into a flame fest in a moments notice
