03 Ranger AC Compressor delays engaging
I've got a 2003 Ranger and the AC compressor doesn't engage when you turn the air on. It usually engages after driving it a few miles of driving and begins blowing cold air. Once it engages you can shut off the truck off and if it doesn't sit for too long the AC kicks right in, but if it sits too long it has another delay. Anyone want to share ideas?

I would guess an A/C relay or low freon will keep the compressor from kicking in also

Probably a wide air gap on the compressor--then when you disturb it or hit a bump it pulls in.
