Show me cool non-US market cars
After cruising these forums for a month I noticed that there are lot of really cool cars outside the US that I never heard of before. For the benefit of us deprived americans, please post pics and brief info on your favorite non-US market cars and educate us about what we are missing.

Oh geez...where to begin?
I'll just name one...my favorite...
Nissan Skyline GT-R (True that you can get them from MotorRex...but if they were legal here they'd be cheaper than what the charge) 2.6 Liter Inline 6 Twin Turbo w/AWD 280HP (really more) 0-60 in about 5 seconds (varies w/generations but that's about right) R32 GT-R (about $30k US) R33 GT-R (about $50-55k US) R34 GT-R (about $90k US) |

S15 Silvia: 2.0L Turbo RWD (the earlier silvias were brought to the USA badged as 240sx's. 240's have a different engine too) Audi Sport Quattro: The original "purpose-built" rally car. The first 4wd sports car. Sold in the mid 80s.

Fliquer...we had that Audi in the states...it came in 83-86 as the Audi UrQuattro Coupe...here's an example...
http://www.bensrallypage.com/forsale/wescoe_audi.html (this one is in Ohio) Here are the specs on the US model...still good...although it didnt have the 200HP that the Euro's had...and it didnt have the big fender flares...but all that could be arranged...the flares could be added and 200HP could probably be achieved w/just a chip...Germans respond very well to chips!!! LOL http://www.geocities.com/ralleyquattro/Ur-qspecsUS.html Here's the specs on the Euro one http://www.geocities.com/ralleyquattro/Ur-qspecs.html |

The urquattro and S quattro were two different cars. The urquattro had a wheelbase that was nearly a foot longer than the S quattro. The S quattro had 300 horsepower. Look at the two cars and you can see a difference.

I didn't like the Avantime when it appeared, but now (we're seeing it for almost 2 years), I really like it. You've to see one on the road to judge i think. It's original and we must accomodate to the design.
But after that you love or you hate ! Same thing for the Vel Satis (new Renault's design).
