96 grand am GT brights logo blinking

the brights logo on the dashboard blinks on and off, whenever the car is running. the brights still turn on and off, but the logo blinks no stop.

so any ideas on what is causing this and how to fix it?

it is a 1996 3.1L V6 grand am GT two door
thanks!

Sounds like a loose wire! If you dont have any other light problems that would be my first suggestion!

I'd also check the fuses and relays to be sure they are tight and making good contact.

and welcome to AF.
