grand am 97 engine troubles
After a quick battery switch I reverse the ground and plus pole. A cable burnt out connected to the starter. After repair al the blow wed fuses everything works again and the engine cranks but its not running. I checked the sparks on the sparkplugs. Non what so ever.
Here in the Netherlands the GRAND AM is an import car and very difficult to maintain so, every help or sugestion is welcome |

Re: grand am 97 engine troubles
Welcome to AF.
Double check the fuses, ALL !! Could have blown the Ignition fuse, or even the ECU .... Also thier are fuseable links by the starter that might prevent your car from starting. On the no spark issue , you didnt mention what engine, check the wires and plugs.. If thats OK then get the coils tested, and the ignition control modual which the coils are typicaly attached to. btw grand ams are difficult to maintain here too.
