Corvette C7 Stingray

Sice i had to wait for the Paint to arrive for the 918 build i had to start another quick build

I chose Revell SnapTite Corvette C7 Stingray

The body in primer

Painted in Lamborghini Grigio Telesto

Masked and painted the Roof in black

Clearcoated the bunch

Fixed some spots in the interior and painted everything

Nice work Tom. The level of detail is pretty good. Much better than the Mustang.

Beautiful. Very nice build for a SNAP kit.

I watched your youtube video on prepping the body. How did you do the exhaust tips? I noticed you cut that section out.

I cut the old molded piece out and just made my own with some plastic card and plastic tubes.

Thank you for your response.
It looks great. Your Vette has inspired me to build that kit.

Re: Corvette C7 Stingray

Just got my kit for Christmas. Any progress? I'm enjoying your build and interested to see if you add any brake detail.

Re: Corvette C7 Stingray

And you did this in how many days? Looks like my own progress for a year or so :-)
Great color choice for the body!
