Re: Ferrari 458 Spider
Just found your build. I'm interested in what you're doing as I've also been wanting to do a spider for quite awhile. Didn't know about the 1/24th scale diecast either. I'm of to EBay to see what I can find!

Re: Ferrari 458 Spider
I hate myself. After everything was painted, paint had dried, sanding done, polishing almost done, during the last session with Tamiyas polishing compound finish, I managed to crack the body, and break away the plastic from the metal part. F$§K! I had to sand the cracked panel completely, fill the open joint with glue, sand again, prime again, paint again...
So after a long time, painting of the body is complete. In very hard to get the colour right on the pictures, it's much lighter in real life than on some of the pics. Interior is complete. The cockpit will go into the body, once that is complete as well, then the rear cover will go on from the outside, and finally the seats. Then everything onto the chassis, some final touches, and voila! On to the details of the body. Results will be shown in the finished section.

Re: Ferrari 458 Spider
Most of the body details are done, and the cockpit is put in.
Body and chassis have found each other, and the rear cover behind the seats is attached. The seats are added, and the interior is finished. Only a few final details missing.
