Subaru Family

Hey all,
I dont know where to look and as far as I know they dont make the kit i'm looking for. I'm building 3 cars...One for me, my wife and my son. Subaru Family i guess... anyways. being that i own a 07 WRX i'm looking for an 04 WRX for my wife because she's older than me and a 09 WRX for my son...2010 if possible, but there are only some changes...for the 2010...as far as i know.

So my question is ...do they MAKE an GR type WRX's? Do you know if they are going to? i'm trying to find it...but i just cant. and these Navy computers just arent the best and i wont be able to use my own computer for a while...so. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Re: Subaru Family

A Japanese company called Fujimi makes 04 and 07 Impreza kits in many variationss. As far as I know, the 04 kit was derived from an earlier Impraza kit, so it's not exactly accurate. The 07 is one of the post-rebirth Fujimi kits with the latest cad/cam technology, so it's much better than the 04 kit.

The GR Impraza isn't available from any kit manufacturers in 1/24 scale, but you can disassemble and rebuild Motorama's diecast.

Re: Subaru Family

Damn no GR's? Do you know if they will make them anytime soon? I know Subaru pulled out WRC, so i dont expect to see any for the 08-09 cars.

Thanks for the help guys.

I'd say give it at least until mid-late next year at the very earliest. The Evo X took sometime to produce but I'd expect at least one of the major manufacturers (most likely Aoshima or Fujimi) to produce it. The Impreza and the Evo have always had a legendary status in Japan.
