1965 Comet Caliente

What exactly are the differences between a base Comet and the Caliente option? Any help anyone has would be greatly appreciated. Im thinking of buying one and would like to know exactly what Im paying for if indeed it is a Caliente. Thanks.

If all the original pieces are on it, it'll have stainless steel wheel covers that look like 14" chrome wheels!

That's right. There was the base Comet, the Claliente (premium), and the Cyclone (sport version). Only the Caliente and Cyclone were available in 2 dr. coupes and convertibles. The Caliente was also cane in a 4 dr. sedan style.

The base came in 2 and 4 door sedan (very basic transportation).

BTW, hi I'm new to the forum.
