Marketing is behind it indeed.
I think it's butt ugly. Especially in the action picture from Marco you can see that the front and rear are meant to go on a different car each. They don't belong to the same car. And Freddy is supposed to run in something like that next year That doesn't look to good. |

Considering the car it is based on the 307 WRC was always going to be hideous. Interesting they chose to use the coupe, may have conferred some aerodynamic advantages at the rear. The back half looks okay, but no denying that steeply raked windscreen is nasty. What is it with car designers these days? First the frog faced Impreza now this?
On the positive side the new engine is badly needed, the old one many years out of production and therefore unable to be updated. I think the Marlboro livery works better on the new car than the 206. Rear wing looks a bit too small, needs some fins! Or maybe Peugeot, who started that particular trend, have decided to drop them. |
