1986 Nissan PU, new head gasket, no power
I just had the head-gasket replaced in my 86 Nissan Z-24 pickup, but it does not have the power it had before the head-gasket blew, and it idles rough. It feels like the timing is retarded, and the mechanic said they had problems with the distributor and had to re-set it. What should I look for? Any suggestions? The mechanic doesn't seem to know what to do.
Thanks, Craig |

Re: 1986 Nissan PU, new head gasket, no power
put the truck engine to 1st position (timing wise).
remove the dizzy then oil pump and reset the oil pump timing . it controls the dizzy timing...
