Mud Guards?

Looks like I might be one of the first members to post a message here. Hope there's someone out there....

Does anyone know where I might get custom mud guards for the front of a Tribute? Mazda has them available for the rears only. I know that the front fender well is flared, but not that much.

thanks.

Tribute Mud Guards

I don't have any good word for you about the guards. I have been looking and only find the rears that I can get prepainted to match. I have found other black molded guards to go on all four. Let me know if you find any and I will do the same.

Galens79,
I've been keeping my eyes peeled, but haven't found anything yet. It might be that aftermarket folks haven't caught up with the 2002's. If I find anything, I'll post back here again (now that I know there's life on this forum).

Thanks.

I have been looking as well since summer 2003 for my 2004 model. I found a site that sells them, ready to be mounted. Here is a link ....

http://www.mazdastuff.com/product.cfm?ProductID=1613

When I called today, the guy told me they are back ordered, but will be available in two weeks. The DX model cost $25 and LS/ES is $48.

Singhera,
Thanks a million for the response. I had been to this site before (2002) with no success. Looks like they're putting the mudguards out there for the 2004's. It's worth a phone call...I can't tell the difference between those for the DX and ES (other than color). Not that it would deter me from buying the ES version, but you would think there's something more than color to explain the $23 difference in price. Also, I'm assuming the the 2004 version will fit my 2002.

Thanks again.

Worth the extra price....

The painted ones are worth the extra price. They are a quality product, nice paint, match great and hold up very well. After mounting they are almost unnoticeable.

Agreed...I just purchased the painted 2004 version which was a perfect match to the original 2002 version and a perfect fit as well. Odd that they didn't offer them 2 years ago.
