Re: 1996 Power Window Fuse keep on Blowing
More information is needed.
Does the fuse blow when a certain window is being operated? Does the fuse blow when any window is being operated? Do your windows move slowly or bind up while in motion? (use silicone spray on the track). Has this problem been getting worse over time or has it come on suddenly? Are you sure the fuse is the correct rating for this application? Let us know.... |

Re: 1996 Power Window Fuse keep on Blowing
My alternator went out a while back and fried several thing in my 96 Rodeo. I've been working on replacing them but it's been hard. One of the things I was missing was a master switch for the drivers door so I was using two wires to lower the windows and in a rush one day the ground and the hot ended up touching and now none of my windows work. There is no power to them at all. Can someone help me by figuring out where to look for the fuses for this. I think that i just need to replace the fuse.
