I have a question (remote starter)

I just finished school in a D.E.P for auto mechanics, and I was wondering, I saw this remote starter at Canadian Tire here in Montreal, and i'd love to know how this gadget works, where to connect it etc..

Re: I have a question (remote starter)

Are you sure you finished school???? That's any mechanics friend. You hook one side to the pos. battery and the other to the pos. starter wire on the starter itself. Then you turn on the ignition and then press the trigger.

What does this thing do anyways ? I mean, if you have the keys, why don't you just use them ?

Re: I have a question (remote starter)

It isn't for everyday driving or like a Compustar remote car starter but a tool to help diagnose a starting problem with a car. You know, to check to see if it's a starter problem, alarm, or something else.
