Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: 3rd chapter
Hey guys, I need some advice from everyone...especially those who can push people to get things done...
I've been wanting to get my engine bay detailed for quite some time now and after talking with Jordan from Late Night Custom, I decided to have my parts sent to them for the polishing/powder coating work. The initial turn-around time that he gave me was 1, 2 weeks top. That sounded reasonable so I sent my intake plenum, my valve cover, and had 3sx send a spark plug cover to LNC towards the end of July. On July 31st, LNC confirmed that they received everything and would work on it later that week... After about 2 weeks, I send them an e-mail to make sure everything was still on track and they respond by saying that they're a little backed up but will get to it by the end of the week. That's fine, things come up... A week after that, I e-mail them again and they say they're almost done and will send pictures soon. A week later, I send another e-mail for status and pictures but get nothing. I call them and no one picks up. I PM them over at 3si and get no response for the longest time. When they finally do respond, Jordan gives me excuses that he didn't get any e-mails (BS because prior to me sending my parts to them they responded to every single e-mail and PM I sent them), that his phone is broken, that his camera is missing, and etc etc. So here we are today. Almost two months now and I still have nothing. He still doesn't return my e-mails, phone calls, or PMs and I start grad school next week without a car. DAMN, WTF do I do??? Will I even get my parts back??? This is so frustrating and I just don't know how they can stay in business with service like that. Furthermore, I don't know why 3si allows them to do business over there when they're so bad with keeping their promise. At this point, I'm thinking that I might have to suck it up and buy a new manifold and valve cover from Jason since I'll probably never see mine again but wanted to see what you guys thought first. I spoke to Vert about this and his advice was to threaten to get a lawyer on them. I've never dealt with legal matters before so I don't know what to expect aside from pure misery!?! So yeah...any advice you guys can give me would be much appreciated. Thanks guys... |

Re: 3000gt's/Stealth very own off topic thread: 3rd chapter
First noob post yay!
I don't know about gettin a lawyer...As you can tell from my rank, im still a noob, therefore I don't know how much all that stuff you sent them will cost you to replace, but unless they're some really critical and expensive parts, a lawyer could easily hurt your pockets more than it would to just buy new parts. |
