Wheel Spacers

Hi people
I am new to your forum, looks great. I am a new convert to the flock, and am going to buy a beat up daily driver '84 318i to learn german with. I have extreme experiece in stereo work in BMW's in general, since I have been an installer since 1980, specialising in high end. Still havent gotten a crack at an M1 though!

My question is this...can I safely install the 16" wheels I have sitting around? They are 4X100mm, 28mm offset. I think a 225/50/16 will look good. I plan on using a top quality spacer, like the HR...but I sure would like to find a less expensive option, as long as quality is not less.

Open for suggestion, I am!
Thanks,
Luke

Re: Wheel Spacers

Bro, I installed 205/50-15 in my BMW 1991 318i. I bought the wheels and tires from tirerack.com and they came w/ a spacer. go check them out, possibly you can get the spacer that you need for a good price. My car looks nice with those wheels. Anyway I hope it helps
