Does the 323 have anything to do with the GLC? If so, what?

I am honestly not sure. There are few 323/Familia or GLC owners on the board here. If you are looking for more info, I suggest asking here

The GLC is identical to the 323, except they changed the name for the North American market (GLC = Great Little Car, or something cheesy like that)
In most other markets it's called either the Familia/Astina or just plain 323, altho in South Africa they call it the Sting. Oh, and if you've ever seen a Ford Laser, its pretty much a rebadged and restyled 323. (just trying to make myself useful here, heheh)
