And its the SiR that has 160hp. The Civic Si Sedan only has 127hp. Thats the one I'm comparing it with ok?

oh and by the way, there is NO civic SI sedan. there is however a civic EX sedan w/ 127 hp. the only hatchback made in '04 is the SI and they didn't make it in a sedan or coupe version. and there is no SiR in north america as far as honda is concerned.

ONCE MORE, the Civic SI in canada is a 4dr sedan, and our SiR is the same as your SI. If you don't belive me, go to honda.ca and find out for yourself. If you can't understand that too bad cause I'm done here for now.

The Base model Sentra SE-R can beat the Focus ST, Civic EX or Si, and has more torque than the SVT Focus. What I don't understand is why there is no '05 SVT Focus? Hopefully there revising it for it's lack of low end torque.

they said they dont plan on making another, and the 2.3 in the is only a lil slower then the SVT adn takes much better to mods, unless tehy came out with a SC or turbo verion it would be pointless

Yup, BUT if you notice even though Ford has demo'd MANY small cars they have never actually made a production of a car that would run with the mustang GT. (aside from the v6 SHO but only because that actually cost a lil more and wasnt sporty)

SC SHO demo, SC and turbo ZX2 demo's, a 'puffed" Contour (what the Focus n2o is ripping off), for has had many great small car demo's but never put any actuall support behind them. I was shocked to find out that in 98 Ford Racing had a LSD for the ZX2, but pulled it in 99 because they wanted to push the Focus, then in 2000 the pulled the Ford Racing CAI, and then they make a intake mani that doesnt really fit either car without work. Ford is just patheric when it comes to small car support.

Toyota, Honda, Dodge, Chevy, and Hyundai(sp) all market their little i4's as cars that can be bought cheap and they have a great OEM support for them, and support kids making them quicker, then there is Ford, the FR parts are all crap, over priced, or just another companies stuff remarketed without any actual input from Ford. Insted of showing cool SC, turbo, or N2o demo's of their cars like they used to (before 2000), and all other companies still do, they brag that a v8 can be put in the car.

now what are they thinking?
the average Focus owner that wants to tune will more willingly buy a SC or Turbo kit for 5k. ea then pay 20k for a v8 swap.

Chevy has demo'd SC versions of the Sunfire and Cavalier since 98, but since they are going to change cars they decided to make the Cobalt SS come with one, Honda pushes the popular j-spec swaps, and Dodge has realized that instead of spending millions to make a new small car, just give the curent one a new start, and gave the Neon a new drivetrain and a turbo. So while even Saturn is gonn have a 205hp ION, all Ford did is up about 25hp and 20tq, compaired to the rivals that have now: 205hp SC x2(Cobalt and ION), 235hp Turbo Neon, a Civic SI that for $300 in Honda J-Spec can have 200+hp, Celicas that can get 200+hp form just Toyotas OEM support, and there is the Focus at the bottom of the line, pulling mid 15's like a Civic Si from 6yrs ago. THe prive fro all thouse others cars are also very close to teh ST's pricetag too, Ford has basicly screwed the Focus, and turned it into what they made the Escort, a small car, with no parts from the Euro market to help them, and no good Factory support.

once again, the sentra SE-R is a 20k+ car. its the nismo tuned sentra, much like the civic or integra type-r's.
