do you have a header? does your state require emissions testing? if no, then just take the cat off and get a test pipe. if yes, i'd say get the high flow cat and a header and your exhaust will be complete.

i live in michigan and i have never really heard of emission testing, and yes my svt focus has a header but i was think of geting that off road pipe and get rid of the cat all together and plus that off road pipe is alot cheaper than the high flow cat...........thnx

I think you would benefit form the addition, but all these mods give limited amount of HP increase. Personaly I did not go for the high-flow... I like the stock sound and don't like those loud rockets that don't move all that fast! All show! But I can understand some do... IF you're looking to gte big HP gain, put in the $ and get the supercharger. I ahve driven one and the diff is very siginificant

Re: 65mm SVT Throttle Body Installation

like i said its basicly stupid to have a 2.5in exaust when the smallest part is only 2in its only gonna flow what that 2in spot can take.

its about as stupid as having a 2in exaust exit out a 1in through muffler, the muffler will defeat the point of the exaust

Re: 65mm SVT Throttle Body Installation

bbk say you can get 8 to 12 hp (most likely flywheel) off just their tb upgrade, its really easy to bult on, just put them side by side, take everything off the old one that the new on doesnt have and transfer it all over, then bult it back on
