Code 9??

My check engine light came on the other night. The ecu is telling me code 9. That should be the #1 cylinder position sensor, right?? Well, i took off the dist. cap to check it out and nothing seems loose or wrong. My redline hasn't gone down like it should when the check engine light comes on, so i'm kinda stumped. Anybody else have problems with that sensor that can help me out??

Oh ya, i have a JDM B16 motor, if that helps.

YOU E.C.U. IS BY BY NO GOOD....

Try a friend's e.c.u. really quick and see if the check engine light come's on.... If the light does it's the dist.. But if it doesn't it you e.c.u.

I'm betting it's you e.c.u.

It shouldnt be the same if you are running a B16. Im hoping you have the B16 ECU. Your looking up the codes for the CRX ECU(PM6)....you need to look it up for the SiR(B16A).
