Cool Removing Dash Unit

Simple dilemma..I am attempting to install my 1st car stereo and all systems are go connection-wise, my stumbling block comes when trying to remove my dash panel. Here' where I stand: Its a 2001 Kia Sportage I have discovered (and removed) the panel that encompasses the airvents and controls, but, I cannot remove the dash panel. Can someone please assist me with the 4-1-1 on where to pry and what screws to undo. Cheers for the help as always and I look forward to any help. - Maestro

Im sure your local stereo shop has done a few sportages. If they are a customer oriented shop, the installer there should give you some idea. You just need to ask the right people.
