automatic window rollup problem
i got an 04 sienna and the driver side auto rollup works but when the window closes all the way it automatically goes down about 2 inches.....kinda weird huh? at 1st i thought this was normal but its been doing this from day 1 since i bought the van and the dealer said this was not normal....well since its still under warrenty i took it in and they replaced the window motor with a new one and it worked ok for about a day or so then the problem came back....has any one experienced this with their automatic roll up feature?

Did you check p. 43 of your manual, or wherever the "Power windows" section is. You might have needed to normalize the window:
Push down power window switch to lower the window half way. Pull up the switch until the window closes AND HOLD SWITCH FOR A SECOND. Good luck, and no, it never happened to me, just happened to recall reading something in the manual about it when I read it through before. |
