i think the s13 coupe is the lightest and stiffest. (or at least stiffer than the hatch, maybe not the s14 or s15)

but theres nothing wrong with the hatches either its allllll personal preference

Well if your looking for a good AND cheap starting car...go with the 91-93 240sx...hatch or coupe...whichever your looks preference is...i have heard coupe is a little stiffer and lighter but IMO the hatch looks better...but thats what i think...get 91-93 5spd becuase u already have 5spd and u have the correct PS lines for the SR20DET swap or whatever your trying to do...if you want RB25DET go with an S14(95-98) 240sx 5spd...doesnt matter which S14 you get...they are the same except for headlights...

Best Donor Cars:
SR20DET-(91-93) S13 Coupe or Hatch 240sx 5spd (DOHC)

RB25DET- (95-98) S14 240sx 5spd.(easier swap into S14 than S13)

What it all boils down to is preference of looks and waht you want to do with your engine...if you want to keep the engine stock or not worried about swapping an engine in...

(91-93) S13 Hatch or Coupe (DOHC) not SOHC(89-90)
or any S14 that looks decent...
Quick because good clean 240's are getting harder to find for cheap...just like when Civics became popular...so if you find a clean well maintained 240sx im pretty sure that you should grab it before its gone

be generous, as you know an S13 hatch is called a 200SX here in europe, even if it has a 1.8l engine, same car is called 180SX over in JDM-tyte-country, even if later models had an SR20 and so on, lets just say
S13 w/ CA18DET.

And I think the best Nissan to start off with for jdmdude is sth like a Micra.
