2001 Alero - right turn problem

Hi - Need your help with this one. My son has a 2001 Alero, 3.4 automatic, 130,000 Kms. Track light, ABS and Check Engine lights came on. Took it to the dealer and they came back with - P0112, P0300 and P0035 Set current.
Found a faulty wire for the P0112 code and had them repair it and clear code. P0300 is apparently a misfire in the #1 cylinder -haven't repaired that yet.

For the P0035 code they inspected the wire harness and found no fault. They inspected the left front hub and found excessive resistance and informed us the hub needed to be replaced. We decided to replace it ourselves. Bought a Moog hub from Autosource and installed it. Now when the car starts there are no problem lights. Car runs great. Drive the car in a straight line and we have full ABS no problem lights. But as soon as we make a right turn the lights come on.
Stop the car and turn it off and restart - no problem lights. Left turns and straight ahead - no problem lights and we have ABS. As soon as you make a right turn - the lights are back on.
Any ideas? All help is appreciated! Thank you.

You most likley have a broken speed sensor "jumper" harness. You can buy replacements from the dealer and splice the new one in. A code read will tell you what side. With the miles, I would replace both.

gmtech1 - thanks for your quick reply! I appreciate your help. I will replace both sides as you suggest. Is this a big job - I ask as I'm not sure of where the speed sensor "jumper" harness is on this car.
Thanks again for your help.

Re: 2001 Alero - right turn problem

The harnesses will include the connector at the speed sensor with about 3 feet of harness. Follow the original ones to where they go into the main harness and splice them at the point where they go into the main harness. Be sure to either use the splices and heat shrink they come with, or use the red heatshrink butt splices that can be purchased at a parts store. The replacement harnesses from a dealer will run about 70-80.00 each.

Re: 2001 Alero - right turn problem

Just realized after reading my old posting that I never updated it. I replaced both wire harness and the lights have been off since then.
Many thanks for your help.
