92-95 civic in Need For Speed Underground?
Is the 92-95 Civic featured in the new EA's Need for Speed Underground videogame for Ps2,Xbox,etc.??? Or is it the 96++ years of CIvIC?
"H to the izzO N to the D A" -Spell Civic backwards- its all good from front to back |

When does that game come out?
NFS Underground is suppose to ship here in U.S on November 17. I can't wait for it. PS2 is going to have online play up to 4 players Racing w/ nitro. But since I more a graphical person, I think I will be getting the Xbox version. |

I'm a nfs fan myself, but I'm pretty disappointed about two parts to the game. There is no damage what so ever, nor are there any dash views. Its probly no big deal to someone who first plays this but, Ive been playing NFS, since the first version. And it went like this
NFS1 = No Damage,Interior NFS2 = no damage, interior NFS3 = No Damage, interior NFS4 = Damage, Interior NFS5 = Great detail in damage and interor NFS6 = Hardly any damage , no interior NFS 7 (this one) = No damage, no interior lol anyhow they did however do a good job on the graphic engine. Its coming out for PC, which is what I will get it in.

I agree that damage would be cool, but (I heard) that the developers weren't allowed to include damage as part of their contract with the actual car companies becuase companies like Honda, Nissan, etc. don't want people to associate damaged cars with their respective companies. It's a psychological thing. Nissan fears, for example, that someone might see a completely wrecked 350Z in the game and permanently thereafter associate Nissan with a mental image of a wrecked car, which would damage real-world sales. It's all hypothetical of course, but a risk that car companies don't want to take. A game that's currently in development called "Street Racing Syndicate" uses damage, but all of it's cars, while modeled after real cars, are generic. So I guess it's a trade-off: real cars with no damage or generic cars with damage?

Too bad you can't make your own kit and it either gives you style points or rice points, on a scale of -10 to 10

In this game, rice=style. Too bad you can't get style points for JDM, lol.
