Rear tire wear

I have a 2007 Azera Limited 22,000 miles and having inside rear tire wear. The tires are tilted inward toward the car body. Dealer said alinement was fine. A few thousand more miles and the tires are very worn to the inside. Anybody look at the rear tilt of your tires? I notice it on brand new Azeras sitting on the dealers lot.

I wonder if you are rotating your tires periodically?

Regardless of your dealer ciomment, if the tires lean-in enough at the top to easily see it and your tires wear heavily on the inner side of the tread, the camber is wrong. Have the alignment checked at an independent alignment center that has a good reputation.
Either that or you carry very heavy loads in the back seat or trunk.

Have you had your rear alighment checked?

When my alighment shop cut my front coil springs, (what I refer to as the mahout
modification,) I had him do an alighment on both the front and the back.
He told me the rear alighment was off and that the rears were "toeing out."

Doesn't that cause the insides of the rear tires to wear prematurely,
especially if they are not being rotated periodically?

BTW, is there any camber or caster adjustment on either end of the Azeras?

Re: Rear tire wear

Take it back to the dealer. Here is alignment specifications:

AZERA
(TG)

Rear Camber
-0.5° ± 0.5°
(0.5°)

Rear Toe
2 ± 2
(1 ± 1)

Re: Rear tire wear

It turns out early Azeras had a problem with cheap struts in the rear that leads to tires wearing out. Lots of cases on other forums.
