Re: Pictures of your truck(s)!

Thanks for the comments guys. I get alot of people who ask where I got my hood and I always feel bad when I have to tell them they are just stick ons. Oh well, they good and I couldn't find any ram air hoods that I liked and that I wanted to pay for. I would agree with Chevytrucks92 that the airaid combo is good. And you can get both the intake and the spacer for less than a k&n intake. Tank Em, if you want your truck to be really loud go with the 40 series mufflers you can get them on ebay for about $45 a piece. One day when I can afford a new truck I'm definitely goin for them.

I got that for like $180 plus shipping. They are really easy to install too.

Sometime in the near future, I'm gonna get a pre-filter for my cone filter from AIRAID. That helps keep the filter from gettin realy dirty, plus gives you a little more airflow I think.

Re: Pictures of your truck(s)!

This is what I really want for my truck.

http://www.stylinconcepts.com/part.c...&CategoryID=28

That's Edelbroc's multi-port fuel injection conversion for the 87-95 TBI 350s. Trouble is, that cost $1000 plus you have to get a high pressure fuel pump, lol. But it would be sweet and they did it to a 93 C1500 on Horse Power TV and it gained 20 hp at the back tires.

Re: Pictures of your truck(s)!

I am not really looking for a loud muffler I am looking for one that will make a nice sound to it and not to loud, The 70 series sounds pretty good to me. And with the hood you said there stick ons? What do you do cut holes into the hood or are they just for looks?

Re: Pictures of your truck(s)!

They are strictly for looks. You don't have to cut holes or anything.

You def. want 70 series then, and by all means, stay away from 40 series (and don't let the muffler shop cut your cat either, or this will make it louder and give it a "slap" sound when you get on it, even slightly get on it).

Those hood scoops go on with two-sided tape I think. The reason abaird's looks so good are becuase he has his painted to match the truck. In reality, even the aftermarket hoods you can buy are primarily just for looks, lol, unless you buy some sort of intake kit to go with the few that are functional.

Re: Pictures of your truck(s)!

Hey clevernickname, I need a power window motor for my 1986 k10 on the passenger side door. You wouldn't happen to have one would you? Seeing as how you have a few trucks layin around.
