the Model kit as well as the epoxy putty i use was purchased at my local hobby store. the company that makes it all is Tamiya. the body is from the stock tamiya Supra model kit. it comes with the engine. the engine looks nothing like the one in the F&F supra but i really dont have the mechanical knowledge to recreate that so mine's gonna be a stock engine. i got the seats from Studio 27 from a website i cant recall. to get the look i wanted, i just applied the putty, let it dry, and carved it into shape with modeling knives and needle files. It takes a LONG time to get it to look right trust me. ive been working on this for months. but i think it will be worth it all in the end. PM me if you have further questions. id be happy to try to help.

BTW, there are other techniques out there that other modelers use to make the body kits. Flyonthewall suggests using plastic styrene stock to shape the kit while filling in the rest with putty.( he could explain it better im sure). i had already started my supra before i read that so this model was not made like that... maybe the next one (if i ever finish this one..jk)

your model looks soooo awesome! I can't stare at it enough. What tools do you use to get all that detail when you're filing, sanding, putting, whatever? I'm building a simple body kit on an s2000, and it doesn't look nearly as nice as yours...thanks!

Here's the latest update... ive been working forever trying to put these bigger 5 spoke on there... i know they arent the same as the ones on the real car but i've been having the darndest time locating rims. ive ordered a bunch of rims from HLJ and the other Hobby search place but none of them come close. I've all but given up on searching. so i have settled for these wheels which are 18" 5 spokers. Its taken so long because the wheels are fujimi and attach to the model differently. they have a hole instead of a peg. so i've been working to retrofit these rims along with the brembo brakes that came with the wheels. this is the first time i've attempted to do such a task. not sure if i'd want to do it again since it was such a pain in my arse. hope you like it... in the mean time, ill be putting the engine and interior together.
