Well, you could cover up the lines already on the car with puddy. You have mastered that so this shouldn't be a problem.

Re: 180sx with s15 half cut PROGRESS!

But those lines are killer, and you don't want to lose the lines of a S15.

You gotta learn sooner or later. It would definitely make both kits look better...and if ya screw up a little, you can putty it back up and try again!

Ther's other places you might be able to order one from. I just bought one this weekend, haven't had the chance to use it yet.

I agree with extending the body lines into the fender. And you're undertaking a pretty big project already, extending the character line shouldn't be a problem! However, I don't know if I'd use a scriber to do that particular job. I think I'd use a needle file or two or half dozen. If you get one with a curved tip, and a shallow curve to the sides, it would a lot easier to carve that line. A scriber is made to cut a very thin, straight line like around doors, hoods, trunks and the like. Check out this particular set to see what I mean; the two on either end are what I'd use. (Of course, you can get similar shaped files from any manufacturer, they're all the same in the end, pretty much). I'd imagine these would be a lot easier to control considering the amount of material you'll be removing. Anyone else got any other ideas? That's just my humble opinion.

hey dude, your modeling is coming on in leaps and bounds.
im very impressed, maybe you should buy a set of needle files to help with the scribing.

other than that its looking great.
