SRT4 owners?

Sorry, I tried a search and didn't get a definitive answer. For the sake of a dispute I was wondering if any of you actually have raced an SRT4 stock in the 1/4. I hate to go by stats on the internet, as owners never seem to agree with them. This was actually what started the dispute in the first place. I've heard mid 13s to mid 14s, and I just wanted to hear from someone who has actually driven it. Thanks, feel free to PM me or just respond here.

Your 1996 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is the 92nd out of the 315 that were made that year. Only 21 of which are exactly identical.

Re: SRT4 owners?

So would 13.5 or 13.6 be typical, or is that a really good driver?

Hey man, I have the stage 1 blow off valve custom K&N intake and 3" down pipe w/ no cat, I also have an upgraded fuel system and aftermarket wastegate, holds boost to 6k rpm. On street tires I run 12.9 at 115 mph, with the bfg comp drag t/a's I run a 12.4 at 119. When I first bought it, stock, was a 13.8 Gainesville, Fl speedway

Re: SRT4 owners?

How much does the bov help. I want to get one, but doing some research first. I have to find a track around here so I can find out how fast I can do the 1/4.

Re: SRT4 owners?

A bov has no performance gains. the mopar just vents to the atmosphere. An external BOV like the greddy/ or turboXS RFL which i have can hold more boost usually 30-20psi....most get it for the sound. try the mopar cat-back or stg 1 or 2. do some research on srtforums.
