Biturbo to restore
Hey anyone able to recomend how easy or dificult it would be to restore a Biturbo, a neighbor has one leying around and im thinking of fixing it up.

they would be expensive to restore, all the old Maserati's are. I think you need to special order the parts from Italy. Why do you want one anyway, they are fundamentally crap.

restore
usually it is the valves that hit when the timing belt broke! Valves are $40 intake to $50 exhaust,belt $60//your labor.....and you might have a hip car to run around in. JIM

the great thing about the maserati biturbo is that so few people know what it is. To most people, its just another car, but just the knowing few appreciate it for what it is, its like an automotive equivilent of the freemasons!

We have a Bi-turbo here at the shop, both turbos leak and are blowing oil into the air cleaner/carb via the pcv tubes, these cars are cool when done up right and maintained properly. Generally speaking they are crap!
