68 Rambler American Exhaust
Alas AMC has a home again.
Question here regards exhaust for the 68 199 and 232 motors. Since they are almost the same motor all the way up to current day straight 6 Jeeps, wouldn't parts for the exhaust system (granted variations in length) be almost a direct firt? |

Re: 68 Rambler American Exhaust
Some parts might, but the later manifolds are different, and the floorpans are completely different. There is a better chance that they won't fit at all.
The good news is that a single custom bent exhaust should only cost you $200 installed.

Re: 68 Rambler American Exhaust
Clifford Performance (6=8) makes performance parts for all kinds of six-cylinder engines. Since they still carry Hudson parts, they'll probably have or know where to get an improved exhaust for your application.
