Really owners ?

The Mclaren F1's owners are owner at 100% of the car or Mclaren "keep a hand" on the car ?

Owner Status

jkbon, When you buy a McLaren it is 100% yours. McLaren Cars Ltd does not own any part of the car. However, the only drawback to owning a McLaren is the cost of service and repairs and finding someone who is actually qualified enough to do the work. In the case of the McLaren, most owners prefer to have their car serviced exclusively by the factory despite the expense. That is the best way to go in my opinion. As an alternative, there are McLaren Service facilities throughout different parts of the world meant to relieve some of the backlog on the factory and to accommodate smaller service needs. As an example, there is a Service Facility in Frankfurt, Germany that is authorized by the factory. They do quite a lot of work for owners in the local Germany area and neighboring countries. No matter where you take your McLaren for service, it is expensive. But rest assured that it will be done correctly rather than your local Ford dealer.

And of course, the McLaren F1. Anywhere worldwide.
