1980 528i Fuel Presure
i need to know what the fuel presure at the pump .
i need to know just how many psi the pump puts out. any how would be nice |

Hmm,
The fuel pump will provide 95 psi if the flow is restricted.
There is a fuel pressure regulator on the engine that controls the pressure. It restricts the return of the fuel to the tank. It will be marked as : 2.5 bar = 36.26 psi or 3.0 bar = 43 psi The fuel pressure regulator also has a vacuum connection that will cause the fuel pressure to rise as the throttle is opened. As the vacuum goes to normal the fuel pressure will go the the regulated pressure. Later,
