Hey ya'll I'm new my mom had just recently gotten a i believe 94 Aerostar Eddie Bauer 4.0 Electronic 4X4 in close to excellent shape! So I look forward to talking to you folks when her van encounters problems! I do have a question already though. her van says Electronic 4X4. Thats like control trac right? It kicks in and out when it senses a wheel slip right? I tried it out the other day spinnin the tires in the driveway and it just spun and as far as i know this is how it works is it kicks in when it senses a wheel spin so I'm thinking I'm going to have tap on the shift motor with a hammer to see if I can get it working but I just wanted to make sure that this is how it works before I go and screw around with it. Oh yeah and luckily it has the same motor and tranny as the explorer 4.0 ohv with an A4LD tranny.
