Little update :
I was able to set the tyres and rideheight correctly with some butchering. Otherwise, I added panellines, which I think make it look better. I am working on getting the last details of the internals right. For instance, I added a little grille on top of the engine and added details when you look through. The lights have been made of styrene tubing filled with lots of clear glue... not the most elegant solution but it works. I m slowly getting there but this detailing takes time ! Am quite happy about the glossiness of it all. I am going to add wheel detailing too. Now I just need to find a way to fix everything together For the front grille, this is a secondary piece fixed from the inside/ There is one that will be fitted from the outside too, to make it look more correct to scale and just more beautiful. Quite happy how its looking. It might not be like a Tamiya kit, but I like it. Ciao ! |
