Question '96 XJS Conv. rear window problem

Greetings all;
I am flying down to San Jose this evening and driving home with my trophy. This will be my first Jag. I made a boomerang trip last Saturday from my home near Seattle to inspect and drive it. One of the few issues with the car was that the left rear window didn't go down auto-magically when the top was lowered. The seller acted surprised and said it was a new problem to him. I understand the rears are on a timer circuit and each one has its own relay, but I don't know where they're located. West coast weather being what it is this time of year, I'm not expecting to be driving home with the top down but I'd like to have some troubleshooting ideas to try on it when I get this kitty in a cage (my garage).
Does anyone here have any experience with a similar problem? Know where the relays are located? Thanks in advance for any/all help.
Patrick

Smile Re: '96 XJS Conv. rear window problem

Well, well, well...this thing healed itself. Within a week or two of getting home, I'd won an ebay bid on a JVC CD-Changer unit and made an appointment for my local CarToys to install it in the trunk and run the cable to the in-dash unit. When I dropped the car off, I thought I'd be doing them a favor by dropping the convertible top to facilitate the installation. As the top lowered, my heretofore hibernating rear quarter-window suddenly awoke from its slumber and retracted as it should. It has been working normally ever since.
Ironically, I had sent an electronic payment to a Florida wrecking yard for a replacement motor the night before! When I groused about the "wasted" money to my brother, he reminded me that it could've been worse, "You could have bought it, and NEEDED TO INSTALL IT when it arrives!" Touche'
