Pagani Zonda F

Hello friends!
I think, this will be interesting for most of you. After many years I have decided to start the works on this model. I like it much more than the Huayra.

As a donor the die cast model from Mondo Motors will be used. Also, an engine from Tamiya's Mercedes-Benz S600 Coupe and some parts from Aoshima's Pagani Huayra will be used in the project. So, let's start.
The donor.

Not bad at all, but in many ways looks as a toy.

The engine from Tamiya (without a gearbox).

First of all, the body paint was deleted.

The cleared metal body.

The seats are too small. I will use the seats from Huayra as a donor (on the right).

These are the parts of the powertrain to be made from scratch.

The blueprint of the gearbox, which I have found in the Internet. Thanks to http://www.gt40s.com/forum/

The very beginning of the body works.

The first attempt of the interior and the engine installation. After that I have decided to use a complete bath from Huayra. I will show this in the next update.

That's all for now.

Re: Pagani Zonda F

This is great! I am so glad you are taking this on, these lunatic cars are so cool but most of us will only be able to tackle the Huayra. I can't wait to see more!

Re: Pagani Zonda F

Some works on the platform. The holes were filled with colored epoxy glue. The front lip was glued. This is the first step of the body assembling.

Re: Pagani Zonda F

I also have a diecast kit and have looked at adding some detail to it but nothing like this. I'm really enjoying following along. One of the challenges that I have run into is replacing the emblems if I strip the paint. Are you planning on creating new decals and if so would print some extra for sale?

2 PJE48: Thank you Paul! I didn't decide about emblems yet. It's a part of a far future, but I'll have you in mind.

Re: Pagani Zonda F

The futher sills modification. The last fixing points had gone.

Checking of matching with the interior bath.

The roof has lost the front flange.
