05 Civic COUPE Passenger Window Will not Go Down

In my 05 civic coupe, the window randomly stopped working. I do not remember hearing a noise of any sort and it wasn’t wet when it stopped working, but now it will not go down and it will only go up. I checked all the fuses, looked fine. I replaced the window motor and regulator, and nothing changed. I actually bought a motor without a regulator and when attached, the gear only moved when it went up. I also replaced the master switch on the drivers side and nothing changed. I also reset the master switch. I’m completely lost.

Re: 05 Civic COUPE Passenger Window Will not Go Down

I don't know if it is an issue in Civics per say, but you may want to check the wiring harness as it runs through the door jam. A broken wire could cause what you are experiencing. If you don't find anything there you are going to have to bust out a multimeter and get the wiring diagram for the door and do some diagnostics.
