Re: The Spyder and The GST
Thank you, spank you everyone. Whenever I get back to work on it, I will post up some more pics and all that jazz.
Jason: Its on air cans.... Pain in the ass to get all that working. Back was cake... but the front...another story. The struts would hit the spindles when you turn due to their larger size. So I had to trim the back of the spindles a little. And eventually I had to add Ingalls adjustable upper bj's to add camber to push the spindle away from the strut. I went ahead and put engalls kit on the rear control arms as well. I probably added 3 or so degrees camber front and rear. But now when I roll low, I have minimal camber if any. Tire wear on my red car was crucial...didnt want to go through that again.

Re: The Spyder and The GST
Got the front suspension all finished up. -New air cans -All new lower control arms -Injalls upper bj's -New tie rod ends -New sway bar endlinks -Poly sway bar bushings -3kgt SL dual piston calipers with fresh rebuilt -New rotors -New brake lines Also if you notice; Instead of the tie rod ends bolting to the top of the hole on the spindle, I flipped them and bolted them to the bottom. This will keep them at a more neutral angle at ride height instead of being at a severe angle. Also with the 92 3kgt brake calipers they have a screw in brake line instead of a banjo so I couldnt use the Eclipse stainless lines I had, I had to use 1g dsm lines and join them with a home made piece of hardline. I also just got all my air gauges in the mail. Im ordering the correct air tank that I need instead of the mock up one I got now. Im going to run a pancake style air tank and locate it in the spare tire well and hide all my valves behind the trunk plastic panels. The compressors will mount under the car behind the right rear tire.

Re: The Spyder and The GST
Looks good man. How do they perform from a performance perspective?

Re: The Spyder and The GST
To be honest with you, I havent had much seat time in it. Its unregistered and uninsured until Im done with the car completly. So minus some spirted runs around the block, I couldnt tell you. But It does ride great, not harsh at all. The last time I drove it, it still had worn out sway bar links, bushings, tie rod ends, and LCA's. But the car felt and drove like a stock car. But I anticipate that when my setup is complete and dialed in with all the new, tight parts that it should perform quite well and have a really nice feel. From a pure performance perspective Im not expecting it to be anything near a proper coilover set up, but then again, Its not going to be a racecar. But until I get it finished, idk. But so far I am very very happy with it.
