Re: twin-turbo RX-7 "resto-mod" project! (details & pics)

hell yeah man those side-splitters will definatley complete the whole package. what are those lights right under the headlights?? those look pretty cool as well. they would look good with that headlight conversion you want to do.

Those are the running-lights+turn-signals of the '99-'02 J-spec RX-7's.

Re: twin-turbo RX-7 "resto-mod" project! (details & pics)

Correct, I would have to do the '99-spec face-conversion or do some fabrication to put in the '99-spec combo-lights.

Anyway, before any cosmetic modifications take place I wanna make my car sound like the one in this vid ; I don't know how many rotors or what size turbo(s) that moster has but it sounds more evil that any V-8 or V-12 I've ever heard!

http://images.rotarynews.com/videos/...enstock036.mpg

I swear I've played the first half of that video about 25 times just to hear that thing!

That would be perfect.

Here's a shitty recording of my car:

It sounds significantly louder and throatier in person, but still nothing like that champion race-car in that previous vid.

A plate holder-less 99-02 JDM nose conversion with the foglights and R1 lip is the best looking FD. It would look awesome on your car since you don't have a rear spoiler. Those side skirts and rear diffuser would also really set off the car, with the big nose you have to do work on the sides and rear or the car with appear to "heavy" at the nose. IMO. I didn't know that you could even buy a 26B I thought that was 787B only. Have you done anything else to the motor? Also those are best looking rims I have ever seen, where did you get them?

I like the one with the license plate holder. Looks more complete
