Help installing a Tach

I just bout a tach for my 94 geo prism... According to the booklet that came with it. I need to hook a wire up to the Negative Ignition Coil.... Can some one please help me out with this one... I cant find were to hook it up....

yea...i had the same problem....look at your distributor.....and there will be a couple of wires/harnesses coming out....look for the set of two (2) wires..... a black wire and a black w/orange stripe wire....simply connect the green wire from your tach to the black wire....the red wire to an accesory source, black to chassis ground and white to your instrument light fuse...that should be it....if you still cant get it to work....try checking out AutoZone, AdvancedAtouparts, Checkers, or another car parts store...they should be able to show you where...
