sounds like a chainsaw

my car goes into dealership thurs because i am experiencing extreme power loss. i have a boost gauge and when the turbo starts to spool up (3psi or more) my car makes an incredibly high pitch clicking well screaming noise. the higher the boost the worse it is. i bought the car w 26k miles so im thinkin the dealership may not have checked the coolant levels and i may have burned a bearing up, any other thoughts?

no lights, i really am thinking with the way it sounds its a bearing or maybe the wastegate actuator snapped so no air moves through without having any back pressure causing a loss in power when the turbo spools up.

UR turbo coule be shot. ALso water pumps are common failure on theese, they can cause a whirring/clicking noise.

i got it back and apparently the turbo snapped off the mount and was hanging free which later on caused a small exhaust leak.

thats bs the turbo is part of the exhaust manifold (not bolted on, its actually integral)
