wow! it would make sence for tamiya to launch the carrera GT after all they released the Enzo and this is a direct competitor in the new generation of true supercars that are coming out, it would be so sweet if they did a Pangani Zonda C12S 7.3, the Maclaren Mercedes SLR and the Lambo Mercielago to complete the set!
Well one of these is definatley going on my christmas list if tamiya do make it, I want a metallic purple one for my shelf!

Tamiya full-detail, Enzo-riffic Carrera GT would be
Tamiya taking current GT3 kit and doing '04 GT3 and GT2 would be even more But we must wait and never know what's really going to happen until they announce it.

Should be really cool should this happen...
And as for teh current GT3 kit, I amazed that no-one ever released a headligth conversion piece in resin for it , with slightly modified bumper, shouldn't be that hard , though, and the result would be great... Olivier |

I suppose it would make sense for Tamiya to go in the direction of releasing more of less detailed models (like the recent 350z).. As these are easy to produce and are low in cost for the customer.
Then release 3 or 4 detailed kits (like the enzo and hopefully the GT) a year. Its not a product roadmap that I would like, but it would allow them to release a wider range of 1/24 car models. Something they are currently not doing..... Plus the detailed kits would still keep the hard core amongst us happy! |
