Angry Oh Yeah? Well Check This Out

Every time I step on the brake pedal in my breeze, the radio shuts off. Not like just the volume goes out. IT DIES. All power to the radio goes out and the whole thing resets as if the battery was disconnected. So every time I hit the brake the clock goes back to 12:00. At least I can tell when the last time I hit the brake was! I was thinking relay, but threr is no relay for the radio or brake lights.

Please god help me........

nevermind

It was the break light fuse. There was a small break in the fuse and was arching everytime I hit the brake. Therefore shorting out the radio for some reason. Also I did notice oil in the spark plug tubes and traced it back to faulty seals which can be accquired through a upper gasket kit

Re: Oh Yeah? Well Check This Out

I had the head gasket blow and I had to do the work myself. If you get a head gasket kit, it comes with all the seals. I am not sure if you can purchase those separately form the haed gasket kit. But it is the seals that are pressed into the valve cover. After pushing new ones in it worked like a champ. Until, at least, the car was stolen and driven into every tree in south east Michigan.
