1992 Toyota Windom

Hi guys, i'm fairly new to this so please beer with me.

I've just acquired a 1992 Toyota Windom 3.0Litre V6 for a whopping $1000NZD.

I'm happy with the car, but there's one button that i can't figure out what it does. it's on the left hand side of the steering wheel by the bottom.
it loosk like a little "+" or "*" sign with arrows pointing up and down. Does anybody know what it does??

If i didn't explain the location properly, it's on the opposite side to where the keyless remote entry on off button is.

Also if anyone could tell me why the radio isn't working.. The tape deck plays fine but my sister (who i bought it off) said the radio just stopped working one day. None of the controls work for changing stations, and the fast forward/rewind button doesn't work for the tape deck.. Any help would be much appreciated.

I dont visit here very often but im from nz and have a 92 windom 3.0G myself that ive had for 2 years...

lexus_power@hotmail is my email, also my msn if u use that, i'll happily help u out however i can as these cars tend to be a pain at times and ive learnt a lot over the 2 years of owning mine.

in answer, the only litle switch in mine on the left side of the steering wheel is on the left top of the column cowling above and behind the wiper stalk... if thats the one ur meaning, that switches the auto steering wheel lift when the key is taken out, a neat little feature which doesnt bloody work in mine lol.

the radio im not sure, my factory stereo flew within 3 days of getting mine lol
