The "MR gearing" is a misconception. It should be called "JDM GTO gearing swap" I used to be under the same impression till I beleive talskinyguy cleared it up for me. The GTO MR for sure had 9b's.

One last thing, everything I have learned about these cars has been mainly thru 3si. I come over here to help out answer posts when I can.

Well as for the GTO MR it's the fastest IMO. Haven't you guys seen that race with a stock 95 GTO MR vs. R33 GTR, the MR ran 12.8 and the R33 ran 12.9. I wish I had that MR.
