Re: 97 blazer hazard switch

Not sure you can get it. I think at one time there was a recall on those and thats the only time I remember being able to just replace the hazard switch.

Anyone else?

4 way hazard switch, GM part # 15174447 is about $10. Pull the old broken one out with needle nose pliers, push the new one in, 1 minute job, nothing to it.

Give 'em that number and see what they say. I've done more than I can count!

Same old story, they'd rather sell you the multifunction switch and if you don't ask specifically for that part number, they give you the song and dance that "It's not available separately".

Sort of wierd that the knucklehead wanted to sell the MF stalk too.
These parts aren't even connected together.
Crappy dealership, I'd say.

Re: 97 blazer hazard switch

It is a very good dealership but with all companies one butt head makes things look not as good. Once Old master gave me the part number, another person took my money and gave me the part I needed.

would this be the same part for a 2000 blazer.
yes I think it was part of a recall a few years ago.

I'm pretty sure it's the same part, check with the dealer first.
